Emily Ito
Associate, Sustainable Finance Group
Emily Ito is an Associate in the Sustainable Finance Group in the Executive Office at Goldman Sachs. She focuses on advancing an integrated approach to sustainability through central coordination of policies, deepening of sustainable finance expertise, and continued partnership with the businesses to drive client impact and deliver on the firm’s sustainability commitments, including the $750 billion sustainable finance target.
Prior to her current role, Emily worked in Investment Banking in the Investment Grade Capital Markets Group, with a focus on Natural Resource clients. Emily helped build out the inaugural ESG Financing Advisory team that had a core mandate to offer ESG-related financing, advisory, and execution expertise across industries, focusing primarily on energy transition and decarbonation efforts.
Emily serves as a co-chair on the Brown Annual Fund. She also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the GS Executive Office Women’s Network. Emily graduated from Brown University with a BA in Economics.
