Jessica Reyes

Environmental Education Associate

Jessica Reyes is an Assistant Environmental Education Coordinator at San Francisco Environment Department, where she leads youth empowerment, teaches environmental literacy, and engages with the community. Jessica was born and raised in Southern California but moved to Northern California to advance her environmental knowledge. Prior to working at San Francisco Environment, she interned at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education while a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She majored in environmental studies with a concentration in global environmental justice and a minor in legal studies. Jessica has years of experience working with youth, coordinating environmental events, and looking at policies. She believes that teaching environmental literacy will teach humans empathy, allow us to make better policy decisions, and ultimately lead us to a healthier Earth! When Jessica isn’t thinking about how to save the planet, she enjoys discussing sustainable fashion, perfecting vegan recipes, or having a park day.
